This episode is done horribly. I had to change to the manga after this and it's actually good. The anime on the other hand.....

I mean... It did have a few dragged out scenes, but it's much better than reading an uncolored manga. In my opinion at least.

The only reason to watch the animated version of something is the fights, and this has....Meh, OK fights. The story is horribly butchered. Also I feel like you don't read books.

There was so much stalling and repeated animation this episode, the assassins reaction after the fight in particular went so much longer that it needed to be, especially the shots of the eyes lol.

It was amusing to watch how Yuuji and Proud Wolf first encountered each other, the way Proud Wolf was sobbing so hard was funny. Also watching Yuuji act so out of character to fool the assassins was a little amusing too, I guess you got to go all out to get off a hit list.

Seems like we have the same thought. Such a waste of time lol

I agree, this episode was not the best one they've had to be sure, BUT I will admit that I still love those Cheerfully Smiling little Bouncy Blue Balls! And isn't it all about the Blue balls? I mean, that's why we're REALLY watching this anime isn't it? XD

I noticed the same. This studio really needs to step up it's animation game. There's so much that leaves to be desired, between the animation, pacing and even art style.

And if they were going to show the encounter with Proud Wolf, then why not just show it in the right order (before what they showed in EP1)?

It's those scenes that makes me love this show unironically, it feels more like a parody of an isekai. don't tell me you actually thought those stares were meant to be serious, it feels like deathnote but on weed.

this anime was supposed to be a running gag anime...but they changed the mc into a serious and expressionless mc....although the stares and pauses while that guy slowly draw out his sword is kinda hilarious tho...i guess thats something from the original material...

now that explains the low budget animation. If they did it on purpose then i shall forgive them now. but yeah it was hilarious for the sake of comedy. so if anyone wants to get the most comedy, watch the anime. If you want the plot then go for manga. although the manga already got the comedy down, the serious story telling is still on point. i don't know if what i said makes sense haha.

Now it all makes sense. I had the feeling that the, extremely awkward, long pause was originally a comedic long pause.

The slime's face was literally 8D and that was the best part of the ep for me.
